The Green Party will be hosting a Meet the Professor X 3 series beginning Monday February 27th with Dr. Hans Schreier, professor in Land & Food Systems UBC-V; specialist in watersheds, soil & water pollution Soil and water sources are threatened. Prof. Schreier exposes nasty facts about environmental pollution. He explains how communities can manage water to offset the effects of agricultural intensification, urban expansion and competing demands. He takes a sobering look at food security in a world troubled with waste and climate turmoil.
