Come cook with us! The idea behind Food Action’s Community Kitchens is to bring together a group of people to learn how to cook healthy, affordable meals. Workshops and classes are open to anyone in the community with an interest in cooking.

New workshops and seminars are under construction and will return with exciting topics and recipes in 2018, when yummy local foods are ripe & ready to harvest. Our cooking instructors use a variety of recipes and include local seasonal ingredients whenever possible. Cooking skills, nutrition info, and food safety are included in the sessions.

It’s a fun, social way to improve your cooking, expand your culinary knowledge, find out about local foods, and learn with others!

Community Kitchens have been running in the North Okanagan since 1991. Food Action currently delivers CK programming in a variety of locations.
